About Arne Excavating
In 2001, James Arne started Arne Excavating out of his one sole truck, doing trucking and material sales. Since then, the company has added onto its lists of qualifications and services. Arne Excavating has grown to be a well-trusted and important factor of the local communities. Arne can do it all, from small, residential homes to large scale business projects. Here at Arne, we pride ourselves in the relationships we have built, and are continuing to build as well as our role in the community. We are a committed, caring, and trustworthy team that puts both time and commitment into getting a job done efficiently and properly.
"We have been working with Arne Excavating since 2004. Jim and Cheryl are a great team. They are highly competent, friendly, get the job done, and keep us informed. All site work: grading, paving, running water, sewer and electric lines, as well as snow plowing and tree work they do with a smile. They are totally reliable and their advice is highly valued. I could not recommend them more highly."

"On behalf of our neighbors in Indian Cove, and on behalf of the Indian Cove Board of Trustees, I would like to express our appreciation for your prompt and effective response when Sassamon Trail was blocked by three downed trees in the recent severe storm. We know that after that kind of weather your services are in great demand, everywhere, by everybody, and we recognize our good fortune in having a long and satisfactory relationship with you and your team."

"In the commercial regard, Arne Excavating helped to make our expansion into a reality. Bringing in gravel, digging the trenches for utilities, backfilling the foundation, bringing in processed material, and grading with gravel. This was all done within budget and in a very reasonable amount of time. At home, James brought over a very skilled tree crew with no mess, great equipment, common sense, solid suggestions, and a great finished product."
